T2 Programming 2021-09-13…Endurance Tests!

Oh my! It’s that zesty time in each 1/12th of the year (month) when we get to test and challenge ourselves a bit. In this first month of the endurance block, I’ve got a cool set of sessions ready for you. Your cardiorespiratory and muscular fatigue resistance will be assessed and enhanced simultaneously. 

Here’s how it’s going to work. Each day has a different “serving suggestion” for you to try. In a perfect world, or just a good week, you’ll hit each workout on each specified day. But if life gets in the way, just feel free to pick and choose a few workouts and/or shuffle the days as you see FIT (like your beastly fitness)!

Week of 2021-09-06 (week 3 of month 1: Endurance Block)

WOWPRIMARYTIPS
MONInfinite Set Pushups
10 pushups, done as many times as you can in a day…example — every hour for 12 hours, or every 15 minutes for 16 hours, etc.
Pick a goal ahead of time, then smash it. No excuses. If you can’t do this during work, just stack it up before and after.
TUELoco Lungeatolla
10 walking lunges + 100 yards walk or jog X as long as you can stand it — example do this for an HOUR, or more!
Notice how strong and flexible you are. The legs will go before the lungs, but push your limits.
WEDPulling Mealplan
Pullups before breakfast and dinner…spend 15 minutes doing reps and rests and count up your number. Then, in the evening, beat your score.
Feast on the excellence! If you can’t even do 1 pullup, that’s OK…just use an assist and do what you can!
THUCarry on Wayward Son
Load your bucket with your sandbag. Walk back and forth on a field or road, etc. switching hands each direction, until you are tired. 
Don’t you cry no more! The grip, core, legs, and lungs will all get a challenge. 
FRILow Impact Cardio
Just a simple hour of walking, riding, etc. to ready you for tomorrow.
Nice and easy! Go with the flow.
SATTwo-Hour Challenge
Pick your preferred aerobic mode of exercise and do it for up to 2 hours.
Go easy, go steady, but go long! Doing just about anything for 2 hours is tough…but so are you!
SUNRest or Substitute Day
Enjoy an off day or use this day to make up for a missed one.
Do what works for you!
It always looks easy on paper!

No video was required for the workouts but I included one on workout nomenclature that you may find useful moving forward.
