The title says a lot. You can and should train for any sport or activity that is important to you. And you should make your training work over your lifespan — to give you as many years of high performance as possible.

I train as a Lifetime Athlete and I train to hunt, among a few other things. I’ve been doing this for a long time and it pays off in magnificent ways. I was recently a guest on The Backcountry Hunting Podcast and I had a great discussion with my friend Joseph von Benedikt about hunter training. It was a great chat and I think you’ll find some pearls in there if you are a hunter, a mountain athlete, or just a human who wants to maintain peak performance through the lifespan.
